Fritz Panzer's wire sculptures are the perfect example of the principles of line. The sculpture of the piano is a perfect example of implied lines, and lost and found lines. The piano isn't whole yet you know exactly what it is because the lines get lost and come back and then get lost again, but then become implied lines. The rhythm that is created by the crazy out of place lines causes lines of direction and therefore causes the viewer to constantly move their eyes in circles around the piece and to fall in
love with the sculpture. All of these pieces are perfect examples of effective focal points with the use of contrast and explicit lines. Where the object is the lines become alot thicker and more defined causing an effective focal point that contrasts against the shear white background. I love these sculptures by Panzer and I hope you do too.

Loving this artist. It's a really unique find for sure. And really cool graffiti background :) Where did you find it?
